Born on February 1, 1993, Loris Baz is a French motorcyclist. Along with Garrett Gerloff, he is a rider for the satellite BMW team Bonovo in the 2023 Superbike World Championship.
In the past, Loris Baz has participated in the MotoGP series, the FIM Superstock 1000 Championship, the British Superbike Championship, the European Superstock 600 Championship (which he won in 2008), and the World Superbikes with Ten Kate Racing.
Baz has been confirmed by the Kawasaki Racing Team for the 2013 Superbike World Championship.
It was revealed on October 4, 2014, that Baz will be joining Forward Racing in MotoGP. Baz's best finish came in September at Misano, where he finished fourth in variable circumstances. With 28 points at the end of his first campaign, Baz placed 17th in the overall championship standings.Â
