Exclusive Interview: Meet the Creative Minds Behind Our Leather Designs

Have you ever wondered why a leather jacket feels so special? It isn’t just about the material; it’s about the thought, the art, and the passion that goes into every single stitch. At its heart, a great leather garment is a masterpiece created by people who truly love what they do.

Today, we are taking you behind the scenes for a special look at our creative process. We sat down with our lead designers to talk about how they turn a simple piece of leather into a fashion statement. In this "Exclusive Interview," you’ll learn about their inspiration, their favorite materials, and why they believe leather will never go out of style.

The Inspiration: Where the Magic Begins

Q: Every great design starts with an idea. Where do you find your inspiration?

Faisal Irshad: "I find inspiration in the world around me. Sometimes it’s the clean lines of a modern building in the city. Other times, it’s the rugged look of an old vintage jacket from the 1950s. I love taking something classic and giving it a modern twist. My goal is always to create a piece that looks just as good ten years from now as it does today."

Muhammad Abdullah: "For me, it’s all about the people. I watch how people move and how they wear their clothes in different cities like London or New York. Leather is a bold material, so I like to design pieces that make the wearer feel confident. I want someone to put on one of our jackets and feel like they can take on the world."

The Material: Choosing the Perfect Leather

Q: You work with many types of leather. How do you choose the right one for a specific design?

Faisal Irshad: "The 'feel' of the leather is everything. If I am designing a soft, elegant blazer for a woman, I will always choose lambskin.  It is incredibly soft, lightweight, and hangs beautifully on the body. It feels like a second skin."

Muhammad Abdullah: "Exactly. But if we are making a tough, classic biker jacket, we might use cowhide or goatskin. These are thicker and more durable. They provide that 'armor' feeling that people love in a traditional motorcycle jacket. The key is matching the leather’s strength to the jacket's purpose."

The Process: From Sketch to Reality

Q: Can you walk us through the steps of creating a new jacket?

Faisal Irshad: "It starts with a pencil and paper. I sketch dozens of ideas before I find the right one. Once the sketch is ready, we make a 'pattern.' This is like a puzzle that shows us exactly how to cut the leather."

Muhammad Abdullah: "After the pattern is made, we create a sample using a basic fabric. This helps us check the fit. Leather is expensive and unforgiving—once you sew a hole in it, that hole stays there forever! We have to be 100% sure the fit is perfect before we touch the leather. When we finally cut the leather, it’s done by hand to ensure the grain of the skin looks perfect across the whole jacket."

Quality vs. Mass Production: The Big Difference

Q: What makes our jackets different from the cheaper ones found in big malls?

Faisal Irshad: "It’s all about the details. In mass production, machines cut hundreds of jackets at once, and they often use 'corrected' leather, which is sanded down and painted to look real. We use full-grain leather, which is the highest quality available. It keeps the natural texture and gets better with age."

Muhammad Abdullah: "Also, look at the hardware. We use heavy-duty metal zippers and reinforced snaps. A cheap jacket usually has a plastic zipper that breaks after a few months. Our Womens Cafe Racer Leather Jacket Black , for example, is built to last a lifetime. We care about the inside just as much as the outside, using high-quality linings that are breathable and comfortable."

Sustainability: Designing for the Future

Q: Fashion is changing, and people care more about the planet. How does that affect your work?

Faisal Irshad: "Sustainability is very important to us. Leather itself is a sustainable choice because it lasts so long. Instead of buying five cheap jackets that end up in the trash, you buy one good leather jacket that lasts twenty years. We also work with tanneries that use cleaner methods to process the leather."

Muhammad Abdullah: "We are also exploring 'upcycled' leather and new plant-based alternatives. Our philosophy is 'buy less, but buy better.' By making high-quality clothes, we are helping to fight the 'fast fashion' problem, where clothes are treated as if they are disposable."

Styling Tips: How to Wear Modern Leather

Q: Leather can be intimidating for some people. How do you suggest styling it?

Faisal Irshad: "Don't overthink it! A leather jacket is the easiest way to upgrade an outfit. You can wear a black biker jacket over a simple white t-shirt and jeans for a classic look. Or, you can throw it over a floral dress to give it a bit of an 'edge.' It works for almost any occasion."

Muhammad Abdullah: "I love seeing people play with colors. While black is the king of leather, colors like deep burgundy, forest green, or even tan can look amazing. It’s all about balance. If the jacket is bold, keep the rest of your outfit simple."

Looking Ahead: The Future of Leather

Q: What do you see in the future for leather fashion?

Faisal Irshad: "I think we will see more 'Quiet Luxury.' This means very high-quality leather but with simple, clean designs—no big logos, just beautiful shapes. It’s a very sophisticated look."

Muhammad Abdullah: "I agree. I also think we will see more 'gender-fluid' designs. Leather is a material that everyone loves, and many of our newer shapes are designed to look great on anyone, regardless of gender. It’s an exciting time to be a designer!"

Conclusion: A Labor of Love

Talking to our designers reminds us that a leather jacket is much more than a piece of clothing. It is the result of hours of sketching, measuring, and careful sewing. It is a mix of history and future trends, all wrapped up in a material that only gets more beautiful the more you wear it.

When you invest in one of our pieces, you aren't just buying a jacket—you are supporting the art of design and the tradition of quality craftsmanship.
